Fiduciaries handle finances and property on behalf of another person and adhere to strict ethical and legal standards. A fiduciary will usually be brought in in the case of vulnerability and can be either public (court appointed) or private. Fiduciaries can serve in the role of court appointed guardian, as a trustee or conservator of an estate, representative payees, or agents under Power of Attorneys. Fiduciaries are licensed by the Arizona Supreme Court and regulated by the Administrative Office of the Courts.
